USO Baby Showers
USO Arizona works with the four active-duty bases in the state, as well as National Guard and Reserve units to host at least four baby showers each calendar year. While these moms are away from home, either directly serving our country or sharing their spouse who is serving, these events give expectant mothers a chance to meet and form friendships with other moms in similar situations. Each mother receives a gift bag of baby necessities and a chance to win door prizes such as strollers, baby monitors, and swings. And thanks to some of our local volunteer groups, we even have handmade blankets, hats and booties to give away!
