Volunteer

Volunteers are the driving force of the USO! With a statewide staff of five, our volunteers make everything USO Arizona does possible. Depending on interests and skills, USO Arizona works with each volunteer to make their experience fulfilling and rewarding.

Special Events volunteers deliver USO programs, such as Barracks Bashes, Operation Baby Shower, and Bob Hope Legacy Reading Program to our military members. These events often take place on base, at sporting event venues, or wherever USO support is needed.

Volunteer shifts in our centers are four hours long and provide the opportunity to host USO guests, provide comfort, snacks, and visit with military members and their families.

Additionally, USO Arizona has several specially trained teams of volunteers, handling logistics and inventory, social media and website content, assisting with the solicitation of donations, and planning volunteer appreciation events.

The first step in becoming a USO volunteer is registering at the link below.
